About

Ashley Grossman, Minnesota Munch bloggerHi!  My name is Ashley and nothing excites me more than gathering around a table for conversations with friends, sipping some good wine (Spanish tempranillo please!) and enjoying a meal with a little heart and soul. It’s even better if I don’t have to cook it!

Welcome to my blog. I like to travel and I explore all corners of Minnesota quite a bit. While the main attractions are often the destinations themselves, inevitably the question always arises, “So, where are we going eat?”  That’s where this blog comes in.  Now I realize not many want to travel to Minnesota, but, believe it or not, the land of 10,000 lakes is host to some pretty amazing places.  The best part is there are so many local diggs in this state that even a seasoned foodie could not possibly get to them all.

Now, I’ll promise you a thing or two.  I will never feature a chain or franchise restaurant.  The point of this blog is to share the local culture of our state and hopefully provide a reader with a new spot to check out.  Lastly, I will always give my honest opinion of any place I dine at.  I’ll let you know if the service was bad or if the food was cold.  I wont rave about a place unless it absolutely was the best place I’ve ever been.  Promise.

I hope you enjoy MinnesotaMunch.com and hope you came hungry.

  1. Hi Ashley! I enjoyed stumbling across your blog recently; great job! I work with a concept that will be coming to Minneapolis June 1st: The Caffeine Crawl. I’d love to talk with you about getting involved, if you are interested. Here’s the link to the Caffeine Crawl site: http://www.caffeinecrawl.com

I noticed you featured Bull Run recently; they will be one of the stops on our Crawl.

    Best,

    EWM
